With 45,000 visitors expected Parkers Peace certainly was a major event for the Group
Being the only ww2 reenactment group present we attracted a lot of attention..the Homefront display was a credit to the ladies Lucy and Karen. Left, ready for action and right, the calm before the storm!!
ww2 jam butties for Erin . . . 'Bren Gun Eddie' with his favorite toy . . . . and me taking it all in . . . .
Public interest in the display was incredible, from young and old and it was not long before the charity boxes began to fill up. It was quite remarkable just how many people took a genuine interest in the display.
